How can Spotify spread positivity by using technology to bring listeners closer to the creators and communities they love?

Spotify has revolutionised the way the world listens. As the worlds most popular audio streaming service they have the goal of unlocking the potential of human creativity by giving millions of creators the opportunity to live of their art and billions of listeners the opportunity to enjoy it. Spotify aims to always be at the cutting edge of technology to give their listeners the best experience.

Challenge

Spotify has a massive and growing listener base which has access to a colossal amount of content but their relationship with their listeners is about more than providing entertainment.

Audio is viewed as a mental health resource by much of gen z who say their moods are enhanced when listening to music (even sad songs). In an increasingly more chaotic and divided world, Spotify is a companion that helps global listeners keep calm and carry on. Spotify wants to help bring the positive, connecting power of our platform to more listeners across the globe.
